About SCA
The School Chaplains’ Association of Ireland is a national voluntary organisation that endeavors to assist Post-Primary School Chaplains in their ministry.

The aims of the association are as follows:
- To provide mutual support for Post-Primary School Chaplains.
- To promote the cause of Post-Primary School Chaplaincy and of Post-Primary School Chaplains through dialogue with other bodies.
- The association is divided into geographical regions called ‘Cluster Groups’ which enable Chaplains to come together to support each other and share resources on a regular basis.
The highlight of the year for the School Chaplains’ Association is the annual 2-day conference held every October. During this conference Chaplains get to meet one another and share resources. The conference is also an opportunity for in-service for Chaplains and in doing so gives them the necessary tools and resources to help them carry out their ministry.
